Steering, Alignment and Suspension
There are noticeable signs that may indicate possible front end, suspension or alignment problems. Before an inspection is started, one of our technicians will discuss drivability problems with you. Initial inspection will include road test, tire inspection, vehicle loading, and ride height.
Provided all components are in good working order after a thorough in-shop inspection has been completed, a wheel alignment or balance may be performed. A computerized wheel alignment consists of checking and setting alignment angles.
- Common Problems
- Scheduled Maintenance
Such symptoms may be: uneven tire wear, pulling to one side, vibration or wandering problems.
When the alignment angles are not within factory specifications the vehicle will steer poorly and tire wear may occur.
At Atlas, our ASE-trained technicians will do a thorough inspection of all steering and suspension parts including tires, shock absorbers and struts.
